The Circle of Extraordinary Women is a unique program designed to enrich the lives of women and their families.  This program is used for the purpose of providing mentoring  to women 17 and up  who are at risk or homeless as the result of loss of disasters, identity, poverty and unemployment; unwed pregnancies,  and  other socio-economic issues.

Destiny Family Services is looking for skilled, talented, creative and energetic volunteers (male or female) who can give their time in presenting workshops, training and mentoring in the areas of leadership, pro-social activities therapeutic counseling, business, career development and much more. ABOUT US >

Destiny Family Services, Community Development Corporation (CDC) is a 501 (c)(3) charitable organization.  We are recipients of the Hosea William's Community Activism Award and the Zeta Phi Beta "Dove Award" for community service.

 

This organization was founded to enrich the lives of at-risk youths in middle and high school and adults ages 17 and up in our target market. Our purpose is to help individuals suffering from poverty, homelessness, and truancy due to: loss of identity due to disabilities, domestic violence, poverty, natural disasters, sexual exploitation, unemployment, unwanted pregnancies, prison re-entry, and other socio-economic problems. To provide balance and enrichment, we offer our programs to all people and communities regardless of race, ethnicity, religion, creed, or socioeconomic status.  We provide quality career and educational development, basic life skills to include financial literacy; leadership training, therapeutic counseling and group therapy;  health initiatives as well as pro-social activities and entertainment using innovative teaching methods and state-of-the-art technology.
